Victoria Cobena creates sophisticated, sustainable gardens and landscapes for like-minded creatives, organisations, and institutions that share her passion for blending aesthetics with sustainable practices. Her spaces are innovatively designed to preserve the planet and cultivate authentic, everyday experiences of natural wonder rooted in the unique local conditions of each site.

Nature and the cultural and physical context are the studio's main sources of inspiration. Innovation, technology, and scientific knowledge of nature and climate are the the tools used to develop its holistic aesthetic concepts.
With a luxury, 1:1 design service, Victoria works collaboratively with the organisations teams and the local conditions of the site to shape the uniqueness of each project. The organisations values, ethos and mission are woven through as the project adapts to mirror their holistic goals. Together, they create landscapes that are crafted to last, yet designed to grow, evolve, and adapt, responding to nature and its natural cycles.
Her unique design philosophy blends Mediterranean and Scandinavian design traditions, enabling the projects to be both forward-thinking and timeless. It harmonises the serene, sustainability-driven, and nature-centric Scandinavian approach with the lively spirit of the sensorial and seasonal beauty inherent in the timeless garden traditions of the Mediterranean.

MY STORY
I have worked for over 10 years with some of the most innovative and creative landscape architecture firms in Scandinavia. Working in such inspiring environments has given me extensive knowledge and also the opportunity to lead some of their most notable projects in Norway. I have a Master in Landscape Architecture from Oslo School of Architecture and Design and am grateful that my work has somehow contributed to the transformation of Oslo into a greener, more liveable and sustainable city.
But my passion for design and architecture was born in southern Europe, in Madrid at the School of Architecture ETSAM, where I gained my Master degree in Architecture with Honours in 2009. A profound interest in cultures and people, landscapes and nature took me from Latin America to the Arctic Circle and beyond. It was then that I found that landscape architecture was the perfect combination of all my passions.
All these experiences have shaped my personal approach to landscape architecture. The aim of my projects is to take the existing site to its full potential by designing with nature for people.
My goal is to inspire organisations worldwide to lead a meaningful green transition driven by aesthetics through landscape architectural design. Together, we can create a world where humans reconnect and live in harmony with nature, working to enhance well-being and preserve the planet for future generations.

My professional expertise ranges from concept to detail design and site supervision of finished projects.
I have led landscape architecture teams in complex interdisciplinary projects throughout all design phases and can provide both leadership and project management services, as well as complete landscape design proposals.
